Radio Khwezi - live
Radio Khwezi is a non-profit radio station made for and by the citizens of a rural community near Maphumulo, Kwazulu Natal.
The station offers content tailored to the needs and interests of its audience who comes mostly from impoverished and underdeveloped communities. It provides a line-up that includes entertainment shows to bring a smile to the audience, news reports and talk shows discussing the main issues affecting the communities.
It also engages directly with the community with the support of the Kwasizabantu Mission, by promoting events that highlight its strengths or call the attention to the problems it faces.
Radio Khwezi, which means The Morning Star in Zulu, broadcasts in KZN using the frequencies 107.7 FM and 90.5 FM. It also live streams worldwide on its website, where listeners can also find the podcasts of the radio's shows.
