UCT Radio 104.5 FM - live

UCT Radio is a campus-community radio station run by students in Cape Town. the station broadcasts from the grounds of the University of Cape Town to a surrounding radius of 20km using the frequency 104.5 FM and live streams globally through the internet. 

The station caters to a young audience that includes high school and university students while also appealing to individuals looking for dynamic and fresh programming different from the conservative mainstream radios.

Throughout the day, it offers various music shows that cover genres such as drum 'n bass, world music, hip-hop, trance, kwaito, rock, house and trance, ensuring a minimum of 50% music content by South African artists. It also accepts music submissions from local artists in search of a breakthrough.

Its line-up also includes entertainment shows and talk shows that analyse student and community issues, current affairs, politics, finance, sports and campus life.

UCT Radio is the biggest campus radio in Cape Town and is highly popular with students and young individuals searching for radio training in a diversed and engaged radio station.
